Title of the Talk: RF-CMOS Integrated Circuits for Wireless Communications

Abstract: This work reviews state of the art CMOS-RFICs for wireless transceivers. It discusses principles and trends in the development of wireless platforms in the context of CMOS technology development. The system evolution from single function (voice) wireless terminals to highly complex multimode all-in-one solutions (voice, data, multimedia, positioning, etc…)  will be addressed. Examples of achievements and commercial implementations will be presented, too. Finally, perspectives on future directions in RF-CMOS integration technology will be given.
