Author Instructions

These instructions are intended to guide you through the Initial Paper Submission process, as well as the Final Paper submission process, for ICECS 2006. Paper proposals not compliant with the required IEEE Xplore format will be rejected without review. Similarly, final papers not conforming to the required format will not appear in the proceedings. Please refer to the complete author instructions on the on-line submission website.

Authors must electronically submit their initial paper in PDF by May 31, 2006 for regular sessions, or by June 15 2006 for special sessions. The required paper format is the IEEE double-column one indicated in the official MS Word Template. Authors are required to convert their own papers from MS Word to PDF. For this purpose, use IEEE PDF Express tool. There is no need to submit a copyright form for the initial submission. Make sure that the paper including figures, does not exceed 4 pages, and the filesize is less than 2 MB. Do not forget to embed and subset all fonts.

If your paper is accepted by the review process for presentation and publication at ICECS 2006, you will have to prepare the final paper version taking into account reviewers' comments but also keeping it substantially the same as the initial paper. Final papers should be submitted before the "deadline for camera-ready copies", September 15 2006. So that the final paper can be published in the proceeding, a copyright form must be fulfilled and joined according to the procedure described on the on-line copyright management webpage. Please note that at least one author per paper must be registered for the conference.
