There are two registration periods:
- Early Registration (Reduced Rate) Period: Before or on September 17, 2006
- Late Registration (Higher Rate) Period: After September 17, 2006
If payment is not received by the Early Registration deadline, then the higher Late Registration rate will be applied.
Following the deliberation of the organizing committee, it has been decided that a full-rate registration can be used for up to three papers. A registration with the student rate can be used for only ONE paper, but does not necessitate any other registration at a non student-rate to allow the publication of the paper in the technical program and the proceedings.
To be eligible for the IEEE special registration rates, please enter your membership number in the on-line registration form.
To be eligible for the special student rate, please fax evidence of your status (e.g. Student I.D. Card or Letter from your University) along with a copy of your "Registration form" to the conference fax number:+33 5 40 00 28 02 (for Corine Doumerc - ICECS 2006 Registration Desk ).
Non-Student Registration fees include attendance of all sessions (but not tutorials), 1 banquet dinner ticket, and 1 CD-ROM proceedings.
Student registration fees do not include the banquet dinner ticket.

IEEE Member rates are only available to individuals who are IEEE members at the time of registration. IEEE members should be prepared to show their IEEE membership card at the conference registration desk. Students should be prepared as well to show their student identification card at the conference registration desk.

The registration desk on site will be opened from 4PM to 7PM on Sunday december 10th, and from 8AM to 6PM, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

The tutorial opening is on Sunday december 10th at 8AM.

Tutorial Registration

There are 6 half-day tutorials.

The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel a given tutorial if the number of registrants for the tutorial is low. In case of such cancellation, tutorial registration fees will be refunded in full.

Items on this list are to be picked up on-site. No shipping is possible.
Note the limited availability of items on this list. Thus, they will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
If an item is not available, then the fees will be fully refunded.

Payment Procedure

Registration payment can be carried out in several ways :

by bank cheques (read the registration form for details).
by bank transfer (read the registration form for details).
by Purchase Order.
by on-line secured payment (must be carried out prior to registration).

Please note that, for confidentiality purpose, no information relative to bank cards (bank card number, expiry date or cryptogram) should be sent by email or fax.

Registration Methods

Please fill in the registration form (available in .DOC and .PDF formats), with the relevant identity and fee informations. For more information about tutorial topics, please have a look at the related section. If you wish to attend tutorials, make sure to check the appropriate boxes in the registration form, according to the tutorial reference list. Please note that people who register only for tutorials will not have access to the regular and special sessions.
If you choose the on-line secured payment (see hereabove), please do not forget to join a copy of the transaction confirmation email you will have previously received.

Confirmation of registration

Upon receiving your application and fee, the registration desk will send you an acknowledgement of delivery by email, including your registration number, by September 17. Please remember to print and bring this confirmation letter with you to the registration desk on site.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made to Corine Doumerc by writing, by faxing (+33 5 40 00 28 02) or e-mail (registration-icecs06@ixl.fr). The amount of refund will depend on the date of cancellation, as follows:

Before November 8, 2006	After November 8, 2006
Full refund of registration fee minus 100€ administration fee	No refund

A total refund of all prepaid fees will be made, excluding an administration charge of 100 Euros, provided that advance written notification is submitted by November 8, 2006. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after November 8, 2006. All refunds will be handled within 30 days after the end of the conference.
